It was great to see my Fashion Week Photographers project featured in the launch issue of subMISSION Magazine.
If you’re not familiar with the project, I went down to London Fashion Week at Somerset House, and rather than photographing the models, the catwalk shows and the fashion extremists, I photographed the photographers and documented what they were wearing (ie. what cameras they were using).
Check out the first issue of this fabulous magazine here.

Following on from my cover shoot for the launch issue of the fantastic SoukSouk magazine, I was asked to come back and shoot the cover for the May issue too. This month the theme was basil, so with the help of fantastic make-up artist Christiane Bazynski and model Gemma Huh, we were able to create some stunning images.
In case you missed the last issue of the magazine, SoukSouk is a service whereby you can subscribe to receive a monthly box full of ethically produced, green and organic cosmetics. Their aim is to encourage people to be more ethical in the products they choose (you can have luxury and still be green) and encourage the cosmetics industry to do the right thing by producing their products in the least harmful way possible. And I’m all for that.

If you’re a fan of the Harry Potter films, then you’ll recognise Bonnie Wright as the actress who plays Ginny Weasley – the lucky Hogwarts alumni who goes on to marry Mr Potter. What you may not be aware of, though, is that she has put her name to a campaign called Live Below The Line which challenges people to feed themselves on £1 or less every day for a week, to highlight the difficulties faced by those living in poverty.
She was featured in today’s Metro newspaper, and I was commissioned to photograph the Life & Style section cover shot to accompany the story.

Yewande Akinola was recently named woman engineer of the year, and today features in a special engineering section of the Daily Telegraph newspaper, accompanied by my portrait of her. A truly inspiring individual if ever there was one.

This week I was commissioned to produce the cover images for Metro’s Life & Style section. It involved visiting ad agency Mother London to photograph two of their directors, Ana and Hermeti Balarin for an article about couples who work together. Here are the pics…

If you’ve heard of Ed Sheeran, or ever been to SXSW, then you’ll be familiar with Antonio Lulic. Right now he’s an unstoppable force on the music scene, having toured with Sheeran and about to embark on his own Spring 2013 tour.
I was commissioned to shoot Antonio for The Maior Magazine and had the pleasure of listening to him play while we were shooting.

Last month I was invited to shoot the front cover for a great new magazine called SoukSouk. The magazine accompanies a box of organic and natural beauty products which are delivered to subscribers each month, and its aim is to encourage people to make more ethical choices when purchasing skin care and beauty products.
The launch issue looks at issues such as the harmful side-effects of the Palm Oil industry, the benefits of Neroli Oil and a lot more. So if you’re a consumer of cosmetics, it’s definitely worth subscribing.

Last week I was down at the Arsenal football club training ground, photographing Stephanie Houghton for Metro. Steph was named as the England Women’s Player of the Year, and is a formidable force on the pitch. Last year she lead us to victory against Brazil at Wembley and represented Team GB at the London Olympics.

Last week I was asked by Metro newspaper to photograph Caroline Donnelly, one of the senior make-up artists for MAC cosmetics (part of the Estée Lauder group of companies). Caroline is going to have her work cut out at London Fashion week, and you can find out why in the full article here.

I recently got the chance to meet South Park creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, when they came to London to check up on their latest musical, The Book of Mormon.
I was commissioned by Metro newspaper to shoot their portraits and, with only ten minutes to get the shot, I managed to get a good selection of photos. You can read the full article on the Metro website, here.
